Labour and Employment

Labour & Employment Officer Bomdila has been looking after the activities of two sections:-

1. Labour welfare section: – Labour officer is generally performing quasi-judicial activities, such as independent decision of workmen’s Compensation, inspection of all establishments of Private/Public Sector Unit/ state/central govt. etc. under various labour laws. He issues legal notice to defaulters and lodges prosecution complaint before the appropriate authority of the jurisdiction. He attends petty complaints relating to non-payment/less-payment/delay payment and termination of services of workers for Tawang and West Kameng District.
   He, as a member secy. of Dist Level Committee (PIC) issues Photo Identity Card (PIC), i/r of govt. labourer with the prior approval of the chairman i.e., D.C, for West Kameng only.He is also a Assessing Officer & Cess Collector of the Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction, Workers Welfare Board for this District.
2. Employment & Training section:- Labour officer, Bomdila ,being the in- charge of the Dist. Employment exchange is performing as a registering authority of the Job-seeker and sponsoring candidates to various department for interviews as and when requisitions are made, Generally he is an employment market information officer of the District also.
